In October and November 2025, The Friends of the OR&W members continued to stabilize and winterize OR&W Coach 5.

The second work session we added plywood sheets to the top of the car to help prevent water and snow buildup on the weakened roof of the car.
After this work session, Coach 5 is ready for the winter months ahead.
Our efforts made the front page of the Monroe County Beacon! Thank you to the Beacon for the article and sharing our story and cause.
